Will the registration rate for the 2021 virtual conference be the same as 2020?
This year’s virtual conference will have different registration rates from our typical in-person conferences, which will be announced soon. Members of AMM and WFM will have access to member discounts.
NOTE: An extension will be granted to individuals currently registered for the Milwaukee conference, which has been postponed to 2022 due to the pandemic. Individuals will be given the opportunity to transfer their registration to Museums Evolving 2.0, the 2021 Virtual Conference, and will be refunded any remaining balance at no charge.
Need to cancel your registration?
All requests for refunds must be submitted in writing to AMM at firstname.lastname@example.org. A full refund, less a $25 processing fee, will be granted for requests made six (6) months prior to the conference start date. Requests less than six (6) months up to one (1) month prior to the conference start date will receive a 50% refund. No refunds will be granted for requests made under one (1) month prior to the conference start date. Refunds will be processed as soon as possible before or after the conference. Registrations paid with a credit card that are canceled more than 30 days after purchase will be refunded by check as soon as possible before or after the conference.
Advertisers, Exhibitors & Sponsors
What will happen with my sponsorship, booth booking or advertising purchase?
We hope that all of our existing conference sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers are willing to make the shift to 2021 with us. We are rethinking the exhibitor experience for an all-virtual conference in 2021. A Conference Sponsorship Guide will be made available soon and will feature new options for engaging attendees during Museums Evolving 2.0, the 2021 Virtual Conference.
Sponsors, exhibitors and advertisers who booked prior to December 31, 2020 will be reassigned to opportunities available for the 2021 and given first right of refusal for all new options. If you have questions about your booking, contact us.

Will the conference program change?
We and our partners are still committed to offering a great online experience in 2021! We anticipate that the program will feature a dynamic speaker lineup and a variety of unique networking opportunities. And in keeping with our Museums Evolving 2.0 theme, we will also be adding programming that reflects on our current climate.
Will you be offering a special rate for session, workshop, and poster presenters?
Special offers for session, workshop, and poster presenters are yet to be determined. We anticipate a discount of some kind.
