There are two types of registration for this year’s conference – Virtual Only and Virtual + In-Person. The following networking activities will take place onsite at the Hyatt Regency Milwaukee and are included in Virtual + In-Person registration only.

Morning Wakeup: Public Art Walking Tour (East)

Led by Sculpture Milwaukee

Sculpture Milwaukee is a non-profit organization transforming downtown Milwaukee’s cultural landscape every year with an outdoor exhibition of world-renowned sculpture that serves as a catalyst for community engagement, economic development, and creative placemaking. Join Sculpture Milwaukee for this morning wake-up tour of works on display nearby the Hyatt Regency as part of this 24/7, no admissions, come as you are, bring what you like, talk if you want to, photography welcome, eat food if you wish, critics welcome, novices encouraged outdoor exhibition.

We’re starting our in-person conference days with our friends! Join us on the 2nd floor of the Hyatt Regency for coffee, tea, and yard games. Visit with your colleagues from the Midwest and beyond, explore this year’s exhibits, and view the stories featured in the Wisconsin Showcase.

Midwest Registrars Committee (MRC) Annual Business Meeting

Join MRC for lunch and fun at their Annual Business Meeting at Oak Barrel Public House, located at 1033 N Doctor MLK Jr. Drive. Open to current and new members of the Midwest Registrars Committee. You can join MRC for $10/year at midwestregistrars.org.

To celebrate our first big day of sessions, let’s unwind as we enjoy sips and snacks throughout the 2nd floor exhibit areas. Explore exhibits, view stories on display in the Wisconsin Showcase, and chat with poster presenters. Or, simply grab a seat and relax!
