The following networking activities will take place onsite at the Hilton Columbus at Easton and are included in Virtual + In-Person and Virtual + Single Day registration types only.

Midwest Registrars Committee (MRC) Annual Business Meeting
12:00 – 1:30 PM
Join MRC for lunch and fun at their Annual Business Meeting at Rusty Bucket Restaurant and Tavern, located just a 5-6 minute walk from the Hilton (address: 4062 Gramercy St). This lunch meeting is open to current and new members of the Midwest Registrars Committee only. Join or renew your membership with MRC for $10/year at midwestregistrars.org.

Lunchtime Networking Roundtable

Networking Roundtable: Close Encounters of the Visitor Kind, Part II
8:15 AM – 9:15 AM
Location: Regent 3, Hilton Columbus at Easton
Start day 3 of the in-person conference with some laughs! During this lighthearted story swap hour, we’ll share the surprising conversations we’ve had with visitors, hilarious or heartwarming comments we’ve overheard at the museum, wild tasks we’ve been asked to do (aka “all other duties as assigned”), and unique offers or requests we’ve been asked to consider. To kick off the conversation, we’ll hear the tales of the “adventures in identification” of two Columbus paleontologists – Dale Gnidovec, Curator at Orton Geological Museum, and Mark Peter, paleontologist with the Ohio Geological Survey. This roundtable is sure to bring a smile to your face!
Midwest Museums Recognition Lunch

For a little midday motivation, we’ll celebrate our colleagues across the Midwest. Enjoy learning about this year’s AMM Awards recipients and help us cheer for our supporters and partners, welcome new members, celebrate AMM Board service, hear special announcements, and recognize all of the people who’ve joined us in Columbus from near and far.
