About Registration
- Registration is only available through our online form. Instructions for registering using this form can be found here.
- Member Rates: Association of Midwest Museums (AMM) and Ohio Museums Association (OMA) members – museums, individuals, and companies – may take advantage of the member registration rates. Contact us with questions or to check the status of your membership.
- Virtual Only Offers: Did you know that, depending on your membership level, you may also have complimentary access to Virtual Day? If you aren’t able to join us in Columbus this year and you are a staff member of an Institutional Member or if you are a George R. Fox Society or Individual Premium member, stay in touch with your peers by attending Virtual Only for free! Current members at these levels will receive a direct email from AMM on Friday, March 29, with instructions for accessing this special discount. Contact us if you did not receive the email or to check the status of your membership.
- Non-Member Museum and Individual Rates: Non-member rates include a one-year individual membership in AMM. Memberships will be activated within 30 days of purchase.
- Member and Non-Member Corporate Rates: AMM has instituted a new policy for service provider/vendor participation in our conference. For-profit service providers/vendors who wish to attend the AMM conference in person, but have not committed to sponsor or exhibit, must support the event through a base level of advertising. You will choose from registration packages that include a Midwest Marketplace Flyer Ad. Virtual Only participation does not require an additional ad purchase. If you have questions or wish to discuss other sponsorship, exhibit or advertising options, contact AMM.
- Other Discounts: We are continuing to offer discounted registration rates for students and furloughed museum workers; see below for details. Sponsors, exhibitors, presenters, volunteers, committee members and other special guests will receive direct notifications with instructions for accessing comps and discounts.
- Group Rates: Museums interested in sending 4 or more staff are invited to become Organizational Champion or Team Builder sponsors to access a group rate. This is a great way to show your staff you value and support them!
- Virtual Platform: This year, we will be testing out Sched as our all-in-one virtual platform and mobile app. Access will be granted to registered attendees prior to Virtual Day. We hope you will like the features it offers and look forward to getting your feedback post-conference.

Registration Options and Pricing Information
We are working with our partners to ensure that this year’s conference is affordable and accessible.
NOTE: Due to inflation and the cost for producing events like the annual conference, our registration rates have increased slightly for 2024. Member rates remain slightly higher than the actual cost per person to produce the event. Non-member advance registration rates include the purchase of a one-year Individual Basic membership with AMM.
There’s no need to worry about early bird deadlines for AMM conferences! Our best rates are our standard rates and are available until the close of online, advance registration on July 15. Onsite rates will be available. Register early to save!
Virtual + In-Person
Virtual + In-Person rates include access to virtual and in-person sessions, lunches, and exhibits. Additional tickets for evening events, tours, and workshops will be available a la carte so that you can build an onsite schedule that works best for you.

- Institutional or Individual Non-Member: $525 (includes one-year Individual Basic membership)

Virtual + Single Day
Virtual + Single Day rates include access to virtual sessions and activities on July 24 and the in-person conference on either Thursday, August 1 or Friday, August 2. Virtual + Single Day includes in-person sessions, one lunch, and exhibits on their choice of day. Additional tickets for evening events, tours, and workshops will be available a la carte so that you can build an onsite schedule that works best for you.
- Institutional or Individual Member: $230
- Institutional or Individual Non-Member: $300 (includes one-year Individual Basic membership)

Capacities are limited for all of these offsite activities. Pre-registration is required.
