The virtual day includes an opening session in the morning and four concurrent sessions in the afternoon. In-person sessions will take place August 1-2 at the Hilton Columbus at Easton.

Internships: The Way Forward

Internships are meant to be learning opportunities, but professionals are facing challenges: What should we be teaching, what should students already know, and how can we meet all needs? Paving the Way Forward to Collections Care Through Grant Funding

The way forward for collections stewardship often lies in external funding. A National Endowment for the Humanities program officer and two grant awardees will elucidate on how to meet collections preservation and access goals with grant funding. They will demystify the application process and present case studies of successful projects.
